Googley Eye Sensory Bags

Googley Eye.jpg

Have some fun with your Little Feet this October and create a really simple and easy sensory play with hair gel and googley eyes. Really you can do this from a little as 8 months upward. Little Feet B is 23 months and really enjoyed squishing the sandwich bags as well as poking all the eyeballs she could find.

  1. Open the sandwich bag up and if you are using food colouring (we did one with and one without), put a little in the bag.

  2. Add all the hair gel into the bag and either massage the food colouring into or jump to step 3.

  3. Put the googley eyes into the bag with the gel and close the bag.

  4. Add the sellotape to secure the opening.

  5. Make sure to stay with your toddler/preschooler while they are playing with the gel bag.

Little Feet B loved playing with these. Watching the gel move under the bag, finding all the eyeballs and the feel of the consistency under her fingers. A sensory success!
